Marion Oaks Country Club golf course is a traditional-style course with many trees and sand bunkers that come into play, but there are no water hazards. The greens are large, slightly sloped and their speeds are determined by the seasonal weather conditions. This course was built on rolling terrain, so expect many uneven lies.

I brought my son to Marion oaks today to let play a course I have played many times over the past 25 years. I had not been here for several years but what a shame. The condition of this course is horrible. It used to be a gem. Now it is a pasture ad that is being kind. Many greens had very little grass on them, fairways and rough areas looked as if they had not been mowed in weeks. It is just a shame to have let this course get to the point it is.
